New Delhi — The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of the CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) for the June 2025 session, bringing relief and excitement to thousands of aspirants.
Candidates can now download their scorecards from the official portal — csirnet.nta.ac.in — which provide marks, percentile scores, and qualifying status for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor eligibility.
The exam took place on July 28 in two shifts across 218 cities. Out of 1,95,241 registered candidates, 1,47,732 appeared. Life Sciences recorded the highest participation with 78,949 registrations and 60,213 attendees, followed by Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean & Planetary Sciences.
NTA had earlier released a provisional answer key on August 1, inviting objections until August 3. After reviewing the challenges, the final key was uploaded, clearing the way for result publication.
Successful candidates will soon receive eligibility certificates and JRF award letters, enabling them to pursue research fellowships and teaching careers. Subject-wise cut-off marks will also be published on the NTA portal in the coming days.
