Patna: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has unveiled its manifesto for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, promising sweeping reforms and large-scale welfare programs focused on employment, women’s empowerment, and the upliftment of backward classes. The manifesto was released in Patna this morning in the presence of senior alliance leaders.
Among its standout pledges, the NDA has announced plans to provide over 1 crore government jobs in Bihar, marking one of the most ambitious employment promises in the state’s history. To boost youth skill development, the alliance also plans to establish a “mega skills centre” in every district, aiming to train and upskill young people before facilitating their placement in global job markets.
Women’s empowerment forms another key pillar of the manifesto. The NDA has pledged financial support of up to ₹2 lakh for women, alongside an ambitious plan to create 1 crore “Lakhpati Didis” — women earning at least ₹1 lakh annually. A new initiative, “Mission Crorepati,” is also on the cards, designed to help women achieve significant financial independence by becoming crorepatis.
For the extremely backward classes (EBCs), the manifesto promises financial aid of up to ₹10 lakh and the formation of a dedicated committee to design tailored welfare schemes for their socioeconomic upliftment.
Additionally, the NDA has assured a legal guarantee for the Minimum Support Price (MSP) to safeguard farmers’ income and ensure stability in the agricultural sector.
With these promises, the NDA aims to project a vision of inclusive growth and empowerment ahead of the 2025 polls, seeking to consolidate support across diverse social and economic groups in Bihar.
