Bihar: A court hearing the anticipatory bail plea of educator Khan Sir has continued the interim protection granted to him, directing the police not to initiate any coercive action until the next stage of proceedings. The order provides temporary relief as the legal process moves forward.
Speaking after the hearing, advocate Arvind Kumar Mawar said the police submitted the case diary sought by the court, which has now been handed over to the public prosecutor for examination. The records are scheduled to be returned on June 23, while the matter has been listed for final arguments on June 25.
According to the counsel, all proceedings linked to the case, including the bail applications of security personnel associated with the matter, will be heard together on the same date due to their interconnected nature. The court is expected to consider the final arguments and decide on the pending bail pleas during the hearing.
The continuation of the “no coercive action” directive means investigating agencies have been instructed to refrain from taking any stringent steps against Khan Sir until the court hears the matter again. The case will now come up for detailed consideration later this week, when the court is likely to take a call on the anticipatory bail petition after hearing all parties.
