Rohtak: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday visited the grieving family of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Sandeep Lather, who allegedly died by suicide, to offer condolences and pledge a transparent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

During his visit to the family’s residence, the Chief Minister assured the late officer’s relatives that the state government stands firmly with them in this difficult time. He promised that every effort would be made to uncover the truth behind Lather’s death, and that no stone would be left unturned in the course of the inquiry.

Sandeep Lather, a serving ASI in the Haryana Police, was found dead under mysterious circumstances earlier this week. While preliminary reports suggest suicide, the incident has sparked widespread concern within the police fraternity and public, prompting demands for a deeper probe into possible workplace pressure or harassment.

Chief Minister Saini also directed senior officials to ensure that the family receives all entitled benefits and welfare assistance from the state.
