Chandigarh: In a symbolic gesture promoting both environmental protection and the state’s anti-drug campaign, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday pedaled his way to the Haryana Legislative Assembly along with several other leaders.

Speaking to reporters, CM Saini underlined the dual benefits of cycling, saying it not only helps keep the environment clean but also contributes to personal health. “Cycling keeps the surroundings pollution-free and strengthens the body. Exercise must be an integral part of everyone’s life,” he remarked.

He added that the state government is taking a proactive approach in spreading awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse. “We are carrying forward the message against drugs across Haryana. Every citizen has a role to play in building a healthier and safer society,” the Chief Minister said.

The bicycle rally by the CM and his colleagues was aimed at sending a strong message of fitness, sustainability, and collective responsibility to the people of the state.
