Haryana: In a tragic development, a senior police officer of Haryana, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Y. Puran Kumar, was found dead at his residence on Tuesday.
According to preliminary information, Kumar allegedly shot himself inside his home. The police recovered his body and sealed the area to conduct a thorough investigation. Forensic teams have been called to the scene, and senior officials have reached the spot to oversee the inquiry.
Authorities are yet to confirm the reason behind the officer’s extreme step. An official statement from the police department is awaited.
