Chandigarh, November 20, 2025: A congregation of immense reverence and pride is set to take place in Sri Anandpur Sahib this year. The Punjab government has organized a special three-day religious event to commemorate the 350th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, and Bhai Dayala Ji. This congregation will run from November 23 to 25, 2025, and every moment of it connects to the heritage of Sikh history, humanity, and sacrifice that all of Punjab takes pride in.

Beginning on November 23, the event will start with a deeply spiritual atmosphere. In the morning, in the presence of Chief Minister (Sangat Rupi) Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann and National Convener Arvind Kejriwal, an Akhand Path (continuous reading of the Guru Granth Sahib) will commence, conveying the message that in Sikh tradition, devotion and service come first. Following this, an exhibition based on the life of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji will be inaugurated. This exhibition has been specially prepared to help youth understand why and how the Gurus sacrificed their lives to protect religion, human rights, and humanity.

Also on November 23, at 11 AM, there will be an interfaith conference where people from different religions, communities, and ideologies will share their thoughts on unity, brotherhood, and human rights. This conference demonstrates that Sikh history is not just the history of the Sikh community, but a message for all humanity—protecting others, standing up for truth, and respecting all faiths. In the evening, a guided tour of Virasat-e-Khalsa and other important connected monuments has been arranged so people can directly experience their roots, traditions, and history. The drone show scheduled for the night will further enhance the beauty of this event, where through lights, the martyrdom of the Gurus, the heritage of the Khalsa Panth, and Punjab’s glory will be displayed in a modern style.

Over three days, an atmosphere of katha (religious discourse), kirtan (devotional singing), devotion, congregation, and service will be created such that every visitor will leave with even greater respect for the Gurus in their hearts. People have deep reverence for this congregation. Everyone believes that by deciding to celebrate this event with such honor and grandeur, the Punjab government has truly honored the sentiments of all of Punjab. This congregation is not just an opportunity to remember history, but a chance to embrace the philosophy that makes Sikhism a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and humanity worldwide.

This three-day congregation is a living embodiment of Punjab’s soul, Punjab’s pride, and Punjab’s heritage, and is a matter of pride for every Punjabi.
