Pride of the Forests: CM Sukhu Congratulates Team for 13-Medal Triumph at National Meet

Shimla: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has congratulated Himachal Pradesh Forest Team for winning six gold, two silver and five bronze medals in All India Forests Sports meet held in Dehradun from 12th to 16th November, 2025.

The Chief Minister said that this achievement reflects the fact that employees of Himachal Pradesh are not lagging behind in any field and continue to bring laurels to the State through their hard work and dedication. The State Government was providing various facilities to the sports persons to help them hone and excel in their skills.

As many as 42 teams across the country participated in this meet and Himachal Pradesh secured 10th position in overall performance and stood second in march-past. It is the best performance ever by the State in this event.
