Chandigarh: The Chief Electoral Officer, Haryana, informed that a special campaign regarding claims and objections will be conducted across the State on September 26 and 27. During the campaign, citizens can submit applications related to inclusion of names in the electoral roll, deletion of names, correction of details, and other claims and objections to their nearest Booth Level Officer (BLO).
The last date for submission of forms related to claims and objections is September 30. Therefore, citizens who have any objections have a final opportunity to register their grievances within the prescribed time.
During the special camps to be held on Saturday and Sunday, BLOs will remain present at their respective polling stations from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and receive claims and objections from eligible voters. So far, a total of 2,46,292 Form-6 applications, 31,146 Form-7 applications and 1,78,207 Form-8 applications have been received.
