Chandigarh: To ensure the smooth and effective implementation of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ being run by the Haryana Government across the state, the Higher Education Department has appointed nodal officers at the state and district levels. This information was shared by Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda.
The Education Minister said that the Directorate of Higher Education has appointed Dr. Dinesh Kumar, State NCC/NSS Officer of the Directorate, as the State Nodal Officer for the successful implementation and coordination of the campaign at the state level. Dr. Dinesh Kumar will oversee campaign-related activities across the state and coordinate with senior officials.
In addition, District Higher Education Officers and senior officials have been appointed as District Nodal Officers for their respective districts to ensure strong implementation of the campaign at the grassroots level across the state.
The Education Minister said that the main objective of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is to strengthen the spirit of social service, dedication and moral values among youth and students. Through the Higher Education Department, students of colleges and universities will be connected with the campaign so that they can actively contribute to activities carried out in the public interest.
He directed all newly appointed nodal officers to work promptly in their respective areas and ensure the transparent and effective implementation of all activities organised under the campaign. Through this campaign, the government aims to take the message of service to the last person in society and make young people active participants in the nation-building process.
