Chandigarh: Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi said that under the leadership of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the state government is working on the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas. The government is taking all communities and sections of society along and is fully committed to the development and beautification of Dharamshalas belonging to all communities. He said that the Gurjar community has a glorious history and has always been at the forefront of protecting patriotism, valour, religion and culture.
The Minister was speaking at a programme organised by the Kurukshetra Gurjar Dharamshala Management Committee at the Dharamshala premises on the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami on Friday. Cabinet Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi extended his warm greetings to the people of the state on Shri Krishna Janmashtami and announced a grant of Rs. 15 lakh for the Gurjar Dharamshala. The programme was presided over by former MLA Leelaram Gurjar.
The Minister said that institutions such as Gurjar Dharamshala are playing an important role in preserving our culture and heritage and in imparting values to the coming generations. Such Dharamshalas are not merely buildings, but symbols of unity, organisation and brotherhood in society.
