Chandigarh: The Ministry of Power, Government of India, is organising the ‘National Painting Competition on Energy Conservation-2026’ with the message “Paint the Future with Your Imagination”.
A government spokesperson, while providing information in this regard, said that students of Classes 5, 6 and 7 can participate under ‘Group A’, while students of Classes 8, 9 and 10 can participate under ‘Group B’. The main painting themes for both groups are “Save Energy at School and Home” and “Energy Conservation is the Key to Energy Security”.
The spokesperson said that at the State-level competition, the first-prize winner in each category will receive ₹50,000 along with a gold medal, the second-prize winner will receive ₹30,000 along with a silver medal, and the third-prize winner will receive ₹20,000 along with a bronze medal. In addition, 10 consolation prize winners will receive ₹7,500 each.
