Chandigarh: The Haryana Government is continuously taking concrete steps to provide better and accessible healthcare facilities to every citizen of the state. As part of these efforts, several measures have been undertaken to strengthen primary healthcare services in rural and backward areas of the state.

Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao said the state government is committed to strengthening basic healthcare infrastructure in remote areas so that rural residents do not have to travel to larger cities for treatment of common ailments and emergency primary care.

The Health Minister said that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has approved the proposal to establish Sub-Health Centres in these three villages of Nuh district. With the implementation of these new centres, local residents will be able to access essential healthcare services at the village level, including regular health check-ups, primary medical care, antenatal care for pregnant women and immunisation of children.

Arti Singh Rao reiterated that the state government is continuously working to expand basic infrastructure in rural and backward areas and fulfil its commitment to building a ‘Healthy Haryana’.
