Chandigarh : Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Shyam Singh Rana said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, the country has established new benchmarks in the fields of development, good governance and public welfare over the past 12 years.
He said that the Central Government’s farmer-centric schemes, rural development programmes, digital revolution, expansion of infrastructure and welfare initiatives for the poor have benefited crores of people across the country. He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India has emerged as a strong and self-reliant nation on the global stage.
The Agriculture Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, India has achieved unprecedented accomplishments in the fields of development, good governance and global standing in recent years. Under his leadership, the country has reached new heights through self-reliance, digital transformation, expansion of infrastructure and public welfare schemes. He said that several flagship initiatives launched by Prime Minister Modi, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Jal Jeevan Mission and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, have brought positive changes in the lives of crores of people.
He further said that strengthening national security, accelerating the development of border areas and adopting a firm policy against terrorism have further enhanced India’s global image. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has become one of the world’s leading economies. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve of ‘Nation First’ and his commitment to public service are giving a new direction to the country’s development. Under his leadership, India is moving rapidly towards becoming a developed and empowered nation.
The Agriculture Minister said that the Central and Haryana Governments are continuously working to enhance farmers’ income, modernise agriculture and strengthen the livestock and dairy sectors. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the Haryana Government is effectively implementing numerous welfare schemes for farmers, youth, women and all sections of society.
He said that such religious and social programmes generate positive energy in society and inspire people towards the spirit of service and dedication. He appealed to all citizens to play an active role in the development of the nation.
