Education Minister Conducts Surprise Inspection of PM SHRI Government School Interacts Directly with Students

Chandigarh: Haryana Education Minister, Mahipal Dhanda, is actively working to improve the education system in the State and strengthen its implementation at the grassroots level. As part of these efforts, the Education Minister on Wednesday conducted a surprise inspection of PM SHRI GGSSS at village Datauli in the Ganaur area of Sonipat district. During the inspection, he closely reviewed cleanliness on the school premises, basic facilities and administrative arrangements.

During his visit, the Education Minister not only reviewed the infrastructure and other facilities but also visited classrooms and interacted directly with the students. He spoke to them about the standard of education, attendance of teachers, availability of teaching-learning material and facilities being provided at the school. The Minister listened to the concerns of the students and directed the officers to ensure that their needs and grievances are addressed on priority.

Direct Monitoring of Educational Institutions at Grassroots Level

In a significant initiative, the Education Minister has been personally visiting government schools and colleges to assess their functioning and monitor arrangements at the grassroots level. Mahipal Dhanda said that bringing about meaningful change requires not only formulating policies but also visiting institutions to identify shortcomings and ensure necessary improvements. His proactive and responsive approach towards strengthening educational institutions has been appreciated by the public and parents.

Several Educational Institutions Inspected in Last 11 Days

The ongoing drive to strengthen the education system has seen the Education Minister conduct surprise visits to several major educational institutions over the past 11 days. Earlier, he had inspected Government College, Panchkula, Government College for Women, Bastara, Government College in Sector 18, Panipat and Government Senior Secondary School at Nizampur village in Panipat.

Directions Issued to Teachers and Officers

During the inspection, the Education Minister said that negligence of any kind in government educational institutions would not be tolerated. He directed teachers to discharge their teaching responsibilities with dedication and ensure that special attention is paid to cleanliness in schools.

Mahipal Dhanda said that the primary objective of the State Government is to create an environment in government schools and colleges where every child, irrespective of his or her economic background, has access to quality and world-class education.
