District Grievance Redressal Committee meeting held in Rewari

Chandigarh: Haryana Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister Sh. Ranbir Gangwa directed Municipal Council officers to get the sewer lines in Sector-1 of Rewari city cleaned using a Super Sucker machine and ensure a permanent solution to the waterlogging problem at Holi Park.

Cabinet Minister Sh. Ranbir Gangwa was chairing a meeting of the District Grievance Redressal Committee at Bal Bhawan Auditorium in Rewari on Monday. Taking cognisance of a complaint raised by residents of Sector-1, he directed the Executive Officer of the Municipal Council to ensure the drainage of contaminated water.

Rewari MLA Sh. Laxman Singh Yadav, Kosli MLA Sh. Anil Yadav, Bawal MLA Dr. Krishan Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Sh. Abhishek Meena, Superintendent of Police Sh. Hemendra Meena, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sh. Rahul Modi, PPP State Coordinator Dr. Satish Khola and BJP District President Dr. Vandana Popli, among others, were present at the meeting.

During the meeting, acting on a complaint by Rewari resident Manjeet Kumar, the Public Works Minister directed the Executive Officer of the Urban Development Authority to allot a plot to the applicant with immediate effect and conduct an inquiry to ascertain the employee or officer responsible for the delay in the matter.

In the case of Bhateri Devi, a resident of Sahadat Nagar, whose plot had been shown as falling on a road, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa directed the District Town Planner (DTP) to get the colony map approved in accordance with the existing situation.

Kuldeep Singh, a resident of Sulkha village, raised a complaint regarding rainwater entering his house during the rainy season. The Cabinet Minister directed that a Duty Magistrate be appointed and a drain be constructed at the site.

A total of 13 grievances were heard during the meeting, of which four were resolved on the spot. Regarding the remaining cases, the Chairman directed the concerned authorities to submit reports.
