Chandigarh : Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, along with Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Sh. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of development projects worth approximately Rs. 125 crore for the Bawal Assembly constituency in Rewari district. Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana and former Minister Dr. Banwari Lal were also present on the occasion.
During the concluding ceremony of the Khet Bachao Abhiyan held at the College of Agriculture campus of Haryana Agricultural University in Bawal on Tuesday, Sh. Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of several development projects in the Bawal constituency.
The projects inaugurated included the Government Girls College, Bawal, constructed at a cost of Rs. 19.75 crore; a shopping complex and parking facility developed by the Municipal Committee, Bawal, at a cost of Rs. 20.29 crore; and the new building of Rampura Police Station, constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.33 crore.
Similarly, foundation stones were laid for a cement concrete (CC) road in Phase-III of IMT Bawal to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 31.26 crore; a water works project for AIIMS Majra to be developed at a cost of Rs. 28.78 crore; a 33 KV substation to be established in village Ransi Majri at a cost of Rs. 6.60 crore; and another 33 KV substation in village Bidawas at a cost of Rs. 8.19 crore.
As part of the development initiatives, foundation stones were also laid for a link road from Bishanpur Gujar Majri and Gujjaron Ki Dhani to Piliyon Wali Dhani at a cost of Rs. 49 lakh; a Primary Health Centre in village Bakhapur at a cost of Rs. 4.58 crore; and Sub-Health Centres in village Manethi and village Bhalkhi Majra, each to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 55 lakh.
