Children and Mothers Connecting with Anganwadi Centres Through Aangan Milan Seva

Chandigarh: The Women and Child Development Department, Haryana, is organising ‘Aangan Milan Seva’ programmes at Anganwadi centres under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. The objective of these programmes is to connect children and mothers with Anganwadi centres and create awareness about nutrition, health and child development.

Sharing more details, an official spokesperson said that through Anganwadi centres, children are being provided nutrition and health services, while equal attention is also being given to their early development and education. Through Aangan Milan Seva, efforts are being made to involve mothers and the community in these activities.

The Women and Child Development Department has appealed to parents and beneficiaries to connect with their nearest Anganwadi centre, participate in the activities organised there and avail themselves of the schemes and services being provided by the department.
