Chandigarh: Haryana’s daughter Neha Goyal, who played a key role in India’s gold-medal-winning performance in hockey at the Asian Games-2026, received a warm welcome and felicitation on her arrival in Sonipat.
Chairman of the Haryana Bureau of Public Enterprises, Mohan Lal Badoli, congratulated Neha on her historic achievement and said that her success has brought pride not only to Haryana but to the entire nation. He said Haryana is proud of her golden achievement and lauded her hard work, dedication and commitment to the sport, describing her journey as an inspiration for the youth, particularly girls.
He said that the daughters of Haryana are continuously creating new benchmarks in sports, while the State’s policies promoting ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ and sports are providing talented youngsters with new opportunities to excel.
