Chandigarh : In a move aimed at ensuring seamless functioning and continuity in administrative operations, the Haryana Government has designated link officers for the Human Resources Department to manage official work during the absence of the department’s Director.
According to instructions issued by Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, the Director, Civil Aviation Department, has been designated as Link Officer-I, while the Director, Foreign Cooperation Department, has been appointed as Link Officer-II for the Human Resources Department.
The arrangement has been made to ensure that departmental work does not suffer in situations where the Director of the Human Resources Department is unavailable due to leave, training programmes, official tours, election duties or any other reason. The designated link officers will also assume charge of departmental responsibilities in the event of a vacancy arising because of transfer or retirement of the incumbent officer.
