Chandigarh: Haryana Governor, Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday jointly released a souvenir of Sansad Khel Mahotsav to be held in the Sirsa Parliamentary Constituency.

The Sansad Khel Mahotsav was organised from September 21 to September 25, 2025.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Barala said that the Sansad Khel Mahotsav is being organised continuously in line with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s commitment towards sports and his vision of providing a larger platform to emerging players.

He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, sports in India have, for the first time, moved beyond being limited to medals or performance and have become part of a national policy for youth development and nation-building.

He said that initiatives such as Khelo India, the Fit India Movement and the National Sports Policy are clear examples that sports have now become central to both leadership and society.
