AAP Alleges ‘Artificial Shortage’ of Gas Cylinders in Chandigarh

Chandigarh: The BJP government, which boasts of a “Double Engine,” has now become a “Trouble Engine” for the common man. Against the skyrocketing prices of LPG and the ‘Artificial Shortage’ of gas cylinders deliberately created in the city, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chandigarh today launched a massive protest against the Central Government at the Sector-17 Plaza (opposite Neelam Cinema).

A massive crowd of AAP workers and the general public gathered at the protest, echoing the Plaza with deafening slogans of “Narendra Modi ne kiya surrender, gayab hua gas cylinder.”

Modi Government is Conducting a ‘Surgical Strike’ on the Kitchen

Leading the protest, AAP leaders launched a scathing attack on the BJP, stating that the BJP leaders who used to beat their chests sitting on the streets when the cylinder was ₹400 during their time in the opposition, have now become deaf and dumb when the cylinder has crossed the ₹1000 mark. The Modi government has launched a direct ‘Surgical Strike’ on the plates of the common man and the household budgets of women. On one hand, back-breaking inflation has crushed the public, and on the other hand, an ‘Artificial Shortage’ is being deliberately created by halting gas supply just to fill the pockets of capitalist friends.

The Aam Aadmi Party issued an open warning to the Central Government that this protest is merely a trailer. If the LPG prices are not curbed immediately and the supply system in the city is not streamlined, the Aam Aadmi Party will hit the streets to intensify this agitation, making it difficult for BJP leaders to step out of their homes.

Present at this massive protest were Former Mayor Kuldeep Kumar, Councilor Hardeep Singh, General Secretary Sunny Aulakh, Anju Katyal, Yogesh Dhingra, Jasbir Singh Laddi, Shadab Rathi, Lalit Mohan, Mewa Ram, and State Media In-Charge Vikrant A. Tanwar. A large number of dedicated party workers and local citizens, including Shishupal, were also present.
