Mumbai: Actor Parineeti Chopra and her husband, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, are set to welcome their first child.

Parineeti shared the news on Instagram with a picture of a cake that read “1+1=3” alongside an image of tiny baby feet. She also posted a short video of the couple walking hand in hand, captioning it, “Our little universe… on its way. Blessed beyond measure.”

The announcement drew a wave of congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues across the film industry. Actress Sonam Kapoor wrote, “Congratulations, darling.” Bhumi Pednekar added, “Congratulations,” while Nimrat Kaur said, “Stay blessed. Many, many congratulations!!!” Neha Dhupia, a mother of two, commented, “Congratulations… welcome to the best hood.”

Earlier this year, Raghav Chadha hinted at family plans during a lighthearted conversation on The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show. When asked by the host, he joked, “Denge, aapko denge… good news jaldi denge,” leaving Parineeti amused.

The couple tied the knot on September 24, 2023, at the Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur in the presence of family, friends, and several personalities from the film and political world.

On the work front, Parineeti Chopra was last seen in Amar Singh Chamkila opposite Diljit Dosanjh.
