New Delhi— In a move aimed at enhancing passenger convenience, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has launched ‘Your Terminal Companion’, a multilingual video series designed to help travellers navigate airport procedures with ease.
Introduced under the airport’s #DELCares initiative, the series acts as a digital guide, offering step-by-step assistance across every stage of travel. From check-in and security screening to immigration, baggage collection and onward journeys, the tutorials aim to reduce confusion—especially for first-time flyers.
The series features 24 modules covering departure, transit and arrival processes, structured around real-life travel scenarios. By simplifying complex procedures, the initiative seeks to make airport navigation more intuitive and less stressful for passengers.
One of the key highlights of ‘Your Terminal Companion’ is its multilingual accessibility. The videos are available in 20 languages, including English, Hindi, Mandarin, Arabic, French, German and Japanese, along with several Indian regional dialects. This ensures that both domestic and international travellers can access information in their preferred language.
Passengers can view the content by scanning QR codes placed across terminals, or through the airport’s official website and YouTube channel, allowing them to prepare even before reaching the airport.
According to DIAL, the initiative has already garnered over 2 lakh organic views within three months and is addressing nearly 82 per cent of routine passenger queries. Officials say this reflects a growing shift towards digital self-assistance among travellers.
DIAL CEO Videh Kumar Jaipuriar said the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to create a more inclusive and seamless travel environment, ensuring that passengers of all backgrounds can move through the airport with confidence.
The launch further strengthens Delhi Airport’s passenger-focused services, which include buggy assistance, complimentary strollers and priority lanes, as part of its broader push to improve efficiency and accessibility.
