Shimla: Education Minister Rohit Thakur has expressed grief over the demise of Chairman, 7th State Finance Commission and Rampur MLA Nand Lal, who passed away in Shimla this morning at the age of 72.
In his condolence message, Rohit Thakur said that Nand Lal was a dedicated public representative who devoted his life to the welfare and development of the people. His invaluable contribution to the progress of Rampur constituency and his commitment to public service would always be remembered.
He said that the demise of Nand Lal was a great loss to the state, particularly to the people of Rampur and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.
The Education Minister prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and give strength and courage to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.
