Chandigarh: Haryana Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Dr Krishan Lal Middha said the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is an effective platform to ensure that government schemes and services reach needy people in a direct, transparent and timely manner. He said the spirit of service should continue beyond the campaign to support those in need.
Speaking to journalists during a public grievance hearing at his residence, Dr Krishan Lal Middha said the state government has fulfilled most of the commitments made during the Assembly elections. He cited various welfare schemes, including the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana for eligible women from families with an annual income of up to Rs. 1.80 lakh, as examples of initiatives aimed at strengthening families economically and socially.
Congratulating Pooja of Hathwala village, Jind, and the entire Indian kabaddi team for winning gold at the Asian Games, he said Haryana’s sports policy, along with improved training and facilities, is encouraging the state’s athletes to excel at national and international levels.
