Chandigarh: Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda said that Seva Paramo Dharma and that strengthening the spirit of service, sensitivity and commitment is essential to creating greater social awareness. He said the district-level ‘Mere Sapno Ka Bharat–Chitra Seva’ programme reflected the imagination, sensitivity and commitment of children towards a Viksit Bharat.
The Education Minister was addressing the district-level ‘Mere Sapno Ka Bharat–Chitra Seva’ programme as the chief guest at the auditorium of Arya PG College in Panipat on Saturday. The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
The Cabinet Minister also visited the poster-making exhibition organised by the Education Department and appreciated the paintings and posters prepared by the students. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Harish Kumar Vashishth also appreciated the ideas and talent of the children.
Mahipal Dhanda said the resolve to make India a leading nation in the world should not remain confined to speeches but must also be reflected in people’s conduct and actions. He said the country has high expectations from its children and there is a continuous need to work towards further strengthening the education system.
