Chandigarh: The Horticulture Department, Haryana is organising five-day training programmes for the benefit of farmers for the year 2026-27 at the Centre of Excellence for Fruits, Mangiana, in Sirsa district. Interested farmers from all districts of the State can apply online for the training through the Horticulture Department’s official website, kaushal.hortharyana.gov.in.
Sharing more details in this regard an official spokesperson said that the training programmes will be organised on different dates between October and December 2026, with Nursery Management and Orchard Management as the key subjects. Each training batch will have 20 seats and participants will be selected on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Applicants must be between 18 and 60 years of age and should be permanent residents of Haryana.
The spokesperson, however, clarified that non-residents operating nurseries in Haryana can also apply for the Nursery Management training, as this training is mandatory for obtaining a nursery licence.
The Department will provide free boarding and lodging facilities to the selected trainees during the training period. Selected farmers will be required to bring photocopies of their Aadhaar Card and Parivar Pehchan Patra, passport-size photographs and the necessary original documents.
