Chandigarh: A grand ceremony will be organised at Sant Namdev Bhawan in Sector 21, Chandigarh, on October 18 to mark the 756th Prakash Diwas of Sant Shiromani Namdev Ji Maharaj. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will attend the ceremony as the chief guest. The Namdev community is particularly enthusiastic about the Chief Minister’s presence, and a large number of devotees from Punjab and other regions are expected to reach Chandigarh for the occasion.
President of Namdev Sabha Haryana and former Chairman Satbir Verma said that the participation of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini as the chief guest at the Prakash Diwas samaroh of Sant Namdev Ji Maharaj was a matter of joy and pride for the community. He said that the Chief Minister’s presence had further enhanced the enthusiasm among community members for the ceremony.
Haryana Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister Ranbir Gangwa and Chairman of the Uttarakhand Disaster Management Board Vinay Rohilla will also attend the ceremony as distinguished guests.
He further said that an exhibition based on the teachings, miracles and messages of Guru Namdev Ji would also be organised in the auditorium of Sant Namdev Bhawan. Guru Paath and Guru Langar Prasad would also be arranged during the ceremony.
