CM Nayab Singh Saini pays tribute to Kargil War martyr Naik Malkit Singh

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday attended a tribute programme organised on the occasion of the 26th death anniversary of Kargil War martyr Naik Malkit Singh at Hadana village in Patiala district of Punjab and paid heartfelt tributes to him. The Chief Minister paid floral tribute at the statue of martyr Naik Malkit Singh and saluted his indomitable courage and supreme sacrifice for the nation.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini interacted with the family members of the martyr and expressed his condolences to them. He said that brave soldiers who make the supreme sacrifice of their lives in the defence of the country are an invaluable national heritage. The indomitable courage, valour and devotion to Maa Bharti of martyr Naik Malkit Singh will always be remembered.

The Chief Minister said that the heroic saga of martyr Naik Malkit Singh will always inspire future generations towards a sense of duty, patriotism and service to the nation. The nation can never forget the sacrifices of its brave martyrs. The martyrdom of such immortal sons of the nation will always remain a source of inspiration for the people of the country.
