CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Cabinet Ministers on Thursday extended their heartfelt sympathies to their cabinet colleague, Mohinder Bhagat, over the sad demise of his father, veteran politician and former Punjab Cabinet Minister Chuni Lal Bhagat, who passed away at his Jalandhar residence.
Describing the late leader as a dedicated grassroots statesman who worked tirelessly for the underprivileged, the Punjab Cabinet Ministers Harpal Singh Cheema, Dr. Balbir Singh, Harjot Singh Bains, Aman Arora, Lal Chand Kataruchakk, Harbhajan Singh E.T.O., Dr. Baljit Kaur, Gurmeet Singh Khudian, Barinder Kumar Goyal, Hardeep Singh Mundian and Tarunpreet Singh Sond, in a joint statement, stated that his passing creates an irreparable void in Punjab’s political landscape.
The Cabinet Ministers prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and to give strength to the entire bereaved family to bear this immense loss.
