Chandigarh: Punjab Congress president Raja Warring on Saturday announced the suspension of former Ghanaur MLA Madan Lal Jalalpur from the party over alleged indiscipline.
Addressing a press conference during a Congress event in Patiala, Warring said Jalalpur had been suspended for making “irresponsible statements” that violated party discipline.
He stated that the action was taken in accordance with the party’s disciplinary norms and reiterated that Congress would not tolerate conduct that undermines organisational discipline.
