New Delhi:BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut has launched a fresh verbal attack against Cockroach Janata Party leader Saurav Das, questioning his student credentials and labeling him useless in a series of social media posts. The public spat comes shortly after the conclusion of widespread student demonstrations led by the political outfit over the NEET-UG 2026 examination paper leak, an agitation that recently culminated in the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Taking to Instagram, the Mandi MP shared screenshots of Das and questioned how the twenty-eight-year-old could still claim student status. Drawing direct comparisons between her own professional career and his public profile, Ranaut highlighted that she had earned two National Film Awards by the same age while balancing multiple roles as an actor, filmmaker, producer, and politician. She further claimed that individuals without significant career demands fail to grasp the pressures of professional success, directly advising Das to acquire tangible skills rather than engaging in personal political disputes.
The confrontation follows earlier controversy generated by Ranaut’s disparaging remarks regarding the young demonstrators involved in the nation-wide testing protests, whom she referred to as Generation Gutter. Responding to her initial comments, Das had dismissed her statements by suggesting that neither her political colleagues nor the country’s youth take her opinions seriously. The exchange underscores lingering political friction following the month-long demonstrations, which were formally called off after the central government agreed to key student demands, including compensation for affected families and the withdrawal of police complaints filed against protesters.
