The introduced measure proposes stringent penalties to deter organized networks and institutions from compromising public recruitment and entrance examinations. Under the draft provisions, individuals convicted of leaking question papers or facilitating unfair practices face enhanced imprisonment terms alongside substantial financial penalties. The legislation also establishes provisions for fast-track courts and time-bound investigations to ensure swift legal proceedings following reported infractions.
Addressing parliamentary concerns regarding student welfare, officials confirmed that genuine candidates and examinees remain protected under existing administrative policies.
