New Delhi: Special Judge Anu Grover Baliga took charge on Saturday as the presiding officer of a newly designated fast-track court tasked with handling criminal cases related to public examination paper leaks and unfair practices. Operating out of the Rouse Avenue District Court Complex in New Delhi, the court will specifically try offences registered under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, along with associated criminal charges.

According to court sources, the trial involving 13 individuals currently jailed in connection with the NEET-UG 2026 examination paper leak case is expected to be transferred to this newly established court. The administrative move follows an official notification issued by the Delhi High Court designating Special Judge Baliga’s court as a Specially Designated Fast Track Court with immediate effect.

The rapid establishment of the dedicated judicial forum comes directly after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced plans to set up fast-track courts to accelerate legal proceedings and deliver swift justice in paper leak incidents across the country.
