New Delhi Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has announced plans to return to India on June 6 and launch a peaceful protest demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over recent examination-related controversies.
In a video shared on Instagram, Dipke appealed to students and supporters across the country to join the campaign and raise their concerns through democratic and constitutional means.
“The time has come for all of us to come together, follow the Constitution of India and peacefully raise our voices to demand Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. If we speak together, our voices will have to be heard,” Dipke said in the video.
He stated that he would arrive in Delhi on the morning of June 6 and invited supporters to gather at the airport before accompanying him to Parliament Street Police Station. According to Dipke, the group intends to seek official permission to hold a peaceful demonstration at Jantar Mantar.
The social media activist alleged that repeated examination controversies, cancellations and disruptions have caused anxiety among students and raised serious concerns about accountability within the education system.
Dipke said the proposed protest would focus on issues affecting students and would remain peaceful and within the framework of the law.
The Cockroach Janta Party, a youth-driven social media movement founded by Dipke, has witnessed a rapid rise in popularity in recent weeks. The platform has gained attention for its satirical content, memes and commentary on issues such as examination irregularities, unemployment and education-related concerns. Several public figures and social media users have also engaged with the movement online.
Further details regarding the proposed protest and any permissions granted by authorities are expected in the coming days.
