Oslo: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Oslo on Monday for a historic two-day visit, marking the first time an Indian head of government has set foot in Norway in over four decades. Stepping off the plane after a successful leg in Sweden, the Prime Minister was greeted by his Norwegian counterpart, Jonas Gahr Støre, and other high-ranking officials. The visit signals a significant deepening of ties between the world’s largest democracy and the Scandinavian nation, with discussions heavily focused on trade, investment, green technology, and the blue economy.
