The victim, identified as Amarjot Singh, was a resident of Mehsampur Kalan village and the only son of his parents. The incident occurred during what appeared to be a routine trip to a local dairy on the outskirts of the village, where Amarjot had gone to purchase cheese. According to eyewitness accounts and preliminary reports, a group of unidentified individuals arriving in a car intercepted him at the location.
