Vrindavan: Cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, visited Vrindavan on Monday, April 20, 2026, to seek blessings from renowned saint Premanand Ji Maharaj. The couple’s visit coincided with the ongoing spiritual atmosphere following the Akshaya Tritiya festival, which was celebrated on April 19. They attended the morning “satsang” (spiritual discourse) at the Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram and engaged in a private spiritual interaction known as “Ekantik Vartalaap” with the Maharaj.
Dressed in simple, traditional attire, the power couple sat among ordinary devotees on the floor to listen to the discourse, shunning any VIP protocols. During the session, Premanand Ji Maharaj emphasized the importance of a pure heart and unwavering devotion as the ultimate path to spiritual realization. This visit marks their third trip to Vrindavan in the past five months, highlighting a deepening spiritual inclination during a short break in Kohli’s IPL 2026 schedule with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
As news of their presence spread, large crowds of fans gathered outside the ashram to catch a glimpse of the celebrity couple. Viral videos from the ashram showed the duo absorbed in meditation and chanting, reflecting a serene and grounded demeanour. The couple has frequently visited various spiritual hubs, including the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram and Mahakaleshwar Temple, over the last two years.
