Tehran: Tensions in West Asia intensified sharply as Iran launched multiple waves of missiles targeting Israel, triggering widespread alerts and raising fresh concerns over a prolonged regional conflict. The development comes even as Donald Trump spoke of ongoing diplomatic engagement, a claim Tehran has outright dismissed.
According to Israeli defence authorities, several missile barrages were fired in quick succession, setting off air raid sirens across key regions, including Tel Aviv. Residents reported loud explosions in the skies as Israel’s air defence systems intercepted incoming threats.
