Budaun (Uttar Pradesh): A joyous occasion turned into a tragedy early Sunday morning when a private bus carrying a wedding party collided head-on with a state-run Uttar Pradesh Roadways bus. The horrific accident, which occurred around 5:00 a.m. near Jarolia village on the Bareilly-Mathura highway, resulted in the deaths of three individuals and left 15 others injured.
The wedding party was traveling back from Barakala village in Shahjahanpur and was en route to Nagla Bhamma in the Kasganj district. According to Hirdesh Kumar Katheira, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), the three victims—identified as Sonu (22), Krishna Kumar (14), and Yogesh (38)—died on impact.
