Idaho: A shooting at an In-N-Out Burger restaurant in Twin Falls, Idaho, left three people dead and seven others injured on Saturday, prompting a major police response and an ongoing investigation into the incident.
According to city officials, emergency responders rushed to the restaurant after reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, police secured the area and began assisting victims, several of whom were found with serious injuries. Authorities said some of the injured remain in critical condition and are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.
During the operation, officers also discovered the body of the suspected gunman in an area close to the restaurant. Officials have not yet confirmed whether the suspect is included in the official death toll, and the exact circumstances surrounding the suspect’s death remain under investigation.
Twin Falls Public Information Officer Josh Palmer said investigators are currently focused on identifying the victims and informing their families before releasing further details. As a result, the names, ages and identities of those killed or injured have not yet been made public.
Law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area as forensic teams continue to examine the crime scene and collect evidence. Authorities are also working to establish the motive behind the shooting and determine whether the attacker acted alone.
The incident has shocked the local community, with investigators urging anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or possesses relevant information to come forward and assist the investigation.
