New Delhi: An Indian national was killed and several others sustained injuries after a missile strike hit Kuwait International Airport early Wednesday, as tensions between Iran and the United States intensified with a fresh exchange of military attacks across the region.
The attack, reportedly launched by Iran, targeted the airport during the latest phase of hostilities between Tehran and Washington, raising concerns about the growing impact of the conflict on civilians and foreign nationals living in the Gulf region.
Expressing grief over the loss of life, India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) strongly condemned the strike. In an official statement, the ministry confirmed the death of an Indian citizen and injuries to several others in the incident.
