Vrindavan: Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma visited the ashram of spiritual leader Premanand Ji Maharaj in Vrindavan on Tuesday to seek his blessings.

The couple was seen sitting among other devotees as the seer spoke about the essence of complete surrender before God. During his discourse, Premanand Ji Maharaj emphasised that difficult phases in life test the faith of true devotees.

“Tough times test the trust of true devotees. People often surrender in pursuit of material gains rather than to truly seek God. One should strive for divine love instead,” he said.

Kohli reportedly arrived at the ashram in the morning and spent over an hour there, participating in the spiritual session.

This is not the first time the couple has visited the Vrindavan ashram. On May 13, 2025, a day after Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket, they had also sought blessings from the spiritual leader. During that visit, they were said to have listened to teachings focused on self-reflection and the transformative power of chanting God’s name with devotion to attain inner peace and spiritual growth.
