New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced Team India’s 15-member squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.
Suryakumar Yadav has been named captain, with opener Shubman Gill as vice-captain. The squad includes a mix of experienced players and promising youngsters, reflecting India’s strategy to balance aggression with stability in the continental tournament.
The team features Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Axar Patel, Jitesh Sharma (wicketkeeper), Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Varun Chakaravarthy, Kuldeep Yadav, Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Harshit Rana, and Rinku Singh.
India will look to defend its dominance in Asia under Suryakumar’s leadership, with a strong batting core and a versatile bowling attack.
