Vrindavan — Spiritual leader and Bageshwar Dham Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has put an end to days of speculation regarding the health of revered Hindu saint Premanand Maharaj. Addressing the media, Shastri assured devotees that Maharaj Ji’s condition is stable and that the circulating rumours were baseless.
“Many rumours were being spread about his health, but he is fine now. I went to give him an invitation for the padayatra. He accepted our invitation and showered us with a lot of love,” Shastri said, bringing relief to thousands of anxious followers across the country.
The clarification follows intense social media chatter suggesting a deterioration in Premanand Maharaj’s health, who is known to be suffering from complete kidney failure. The wave of concern had prompted many devotees to express prayers and worry online.
Shastri, who recently met Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan, described the encounter as one filled with warmth, blessings, and positivity. He added that Maharaj Ji graciously accepted his invitation to the upcoming padayatra — a grand spiritual procession involving thousands of devotees. The acceptance has been interpreted as a hopeful sign of his improving health and spiritual strength.
