Ferozepur: To facilitate students appearing for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) on June 21, Northern Railway has announced the operation of special examination trains on key routes across Punjab.
The railway authorities said the special services will run between Amritsar, Ludhiana and Firozepur to ensure convenient travel for NEET aspirants on the examination day.
Train No. 04666 Amritsar–Ludhiana Special will depart from Amritsar Junction at 9:50 AM and reach Ludhiana Junction at 12:10 PM. The return service, Train No. 04665 Ludhiana–Amritsar Special, will leave Ludhiana at 7:20 PM and arrive in Amritsar at 10:05 PM. The train will halt at Beas, Jalandhar City, Phagwara and Phillaur stations.
Another special service, Train No. 04667 Ludhiana–Amritsar Special, will depart from Ludhiana at 9:30 AM and reach Amritsar at 12:10 PM. The return train, No. 04668 Amritsar–Ludhiana Special, will leave Amritsar at 7:40 PM and reach Ludhiana at 10:10 PM, stopping at Phillaur, Phagwara, Jalandhar City and Beas.
Northern Railway has also announced Train No. 04670 Firozepur Cantt–Ludhiana Special, which will depart from Firozepur Cantt at 7:45 AM and arrive at Ludhiana Junction at 11:00 AM. The return service, Train No. 04669 Ludhiana–Firozepur Cantt Special, will leave Ludhiana at 7:00 PM and reach Firozepur Cantt at 9:30 PM. The train will stop at Talwandi, Moga, Ajitwal, Jagraon and Mullanpur stations.
Railway officials have advised passengers and candidates to check updated schedules through the Rail Madad helpline and official railway enquiry platforms before travelling.
