Patiala: Punjabi University has secured a spot among India’s top 50 state universities, achieving the 47th position in the Outlook-ICARE Ranking 2025. The announcement was made on Independence Day by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jagdeep Singh, who described the recognition as a proud moment for the institution and the state.

Dr. Singh congratulated faculty members, non-teaching staff, students, alumni, and well-wishers, attributing the achievement to their collective dedication. He also acknowledged the efforts of former Vice-Chancellors and administrative officials whose contributions, he said, were instrumental in reaching this milestone.

“This recognition reflects our commitment to academic excellence, research, and community service. We must continue to work together to enhance Punjabi University’s national and global standing,” he stated.

The ranking was determined based on performance across multiple parameters.
