Leaders Step Forward with Major Donations for Punjab Flood Relief

Chandigarh, September 1, 2025 – As Punjab continues to face the aftermath of devastating floods, several political leaders have come forward with significant contributions to aid relief efforts.

Sangrur MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer has donated ₹25 lakh to support flood-affected residents in Ajnala. Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Mittal has extended his help with a contribution of ₹20 lakh.

In a major gesture, Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak has donated his entire ₹5 crore MPLAD fund for relief work in Ferozepur, one of the worst-hit districts.
