Station House Officer Akash Dutt said the action was based on prior inputs and suspicion. He added that once the medical report confirmed drug use, the accused was formally arrested in accordance with the law. Further investigation is underway to determine additional aspects related to the case.

Police officials also indicated that there had been earlier complaints regarding Sethi’s activities, which prompted closer monitoring.

Honey Sethi, who runs a footwear business, maintains a strong presence on social media and is known for frequently posting content online. News of his arrest has sparked discussion across the local area.

Reiterating their stance, police emphasized that the anti-drug campaign in the region remains firm and that strict measures will continue against individuals found violating narcotics laws.
